I have personally been waiting years to read this material, and now it is finally available. I didn't quite know what to expect from this book. I was initially hoping for a more direct sequel to her earlier writings, and although this does build upon the concepts contained therein, Crystalline Illumination primarily serves to introduce new material. <br /> <br />This book focuses on evolving our conscious presence here on earth by activating what Raphaell terms the "high bodies." These consist of the High Mind, High Heart, High Physical Body, the Eyes in the Knees, and the Eyes in the Feet. While these are not exactly chakra points or levels to the aura, they do have correlations to our non-physical anatomy. Each of the five bodies has integration points that correspond to energy centers in the body, and each represents a state of being on the spiritual path. As we activate and integrate the material in this book we really grow and progress. <br /> <br />Each of the five bodies is given its own chapter with information on what function it serves, what color ray or rays activate it, and which crystals may best serve to work with it. The author has included several favorites in this work, but there are many new crystals that have never appeared in her writings before, including Erythrite, pyromorphite, astrophyllite, rainbow obsidian, and many others. The material in this book is new and innovative, so it naturally follows that the stones she recommends are also innovative and relatively new to crystal lovers. <br /> <br />I really thought this book would be a little "out there" judging by the names of some of the five bodies, but it is delightfully well researched and grounded. There is some additional material concerning the nature of sacred geometry and its relevance to the order of the universe and the mineral kingdom, although I feel that it is in need of further expansion. I have a feeling that most readers will thoroughly enjoy this book and lovingly add it to their crystal libraries. That being said, NO "divination" or "fortune telling" is acceptable, including Tarot cards. Why is it that in the Old and New Testaments they cast lots? This wasn't considered to be fortune-telling, as you were not trying to receive any revelation of the unknown. The entire concept of lots was similar to flipping a coin. You already knew the possible outcomes and all that was left was chance. You ask God, Jehovah, at that point to take control.
